Vigneron Notes:
Sourced from the organic J&J single vineyard site on Rivers Lane in the heart of McLaren Vale this is the first of many Rivers Lane series wines to be released. The 2009/10 growing season was the best seen in over a decade. The long, even ripening period allowed the fruit to mature gradually and reach its ultimate ripeness and flavour potential.
Winemaker Notes:
This wine is produced in small batches and only when the vintages are favourable to producing the highest quality. Fortunately this inaugural release was aided by the best vintage in over a decade and is a true reflection of the passion, complexity and terroir that J&J Vineyards represent.

Rich, lifted plum characters mingle with dark, fleshy fruits and are softly integrated with some lovely savoury oak and soft, rich tannins. Very good length and balance.
