There is genuine honesty to Scott’s ethos in winemaking and it starts with passion for the product and respect for the process. He feels the product needs to manifest the producers’ beliefs for an authentic growers product. With J&J their direction is organic and natural, a true farmers market wine label. Reflecting the terroir and strengthening their family direction, moving their branding forward, at the same time grounding them to the truths of home grown produce.
Scott's experience in winemaking is long and vast. With more than 20 vintages Scott has made wine with small and large business. As a flying winemaker experience has been gained and his craft refined by making wine in many countries including Italy, California, Sweden and China.
James Halliday called Scott "a wizard" for his ability to transform wines into trophies and gold medals.
